Arriving at the airy porte cochere, you will be greeted by a smiling welcome as warm as the Bajan sunset. The greeting inside is equally genuine and generous: freshly chilled towels and iced glasses of tropical fruit punch will cool you down.

Throughout your stay, we will cater to your every need, from unpacking your luggage on arrival and guiding you through your state-of-the-art room facilities to supervising your twice-daily room embellishment (at times that are most convenient to you) and serving your favorite cocktails on the verandah.

CONCIERGE, GUEST SERVICES AND RECEPTION

Think of our Concierge as your personal confidant - someone who knows how to listen to your needs and help you to discover many of the islands hidden treasures, be it in our Bentleys, on an organized tour, a helicopter flight or submarine dive. Our Concierge staff will always be at your disposal to satisfy your needs and requests. They can arrange anything from an island-hopping day trip to a relaxing day on a sailboat or catamaran on the beautiful and tranquil Caribbean Sea.

You can laze your days away on the beach or by our pool complete with bar and café.

Or take part in something more strenuous with your choice from top class golf, tennis, the complete range of water sports available at the Beach Club under the guidance of our qualified attendants ... even a trip to swim with the turtles!

Designed with the needs of younger guests in mind, the Treehouse Club is where children have the freedom to enjoy themselves in their own way under the supervision of our experienced and enthusiastic staff -while you relax and unwind on the beach. Professional counsellors plan daily themed activities, which encourage children to express themselves through arts and crafts, drama, sports and games.

BEACH WATERSPORTS AND POOL

Beach

A visit to the beach will be a most relaxing experience.

Our attendants will ensure that you are seated in the location of your choice, and they will cater to your every need, providing you with all your food service and delivering refreshing chilled beverages to quench your thirst.

Beach Club

No visit to the beach would be complete without a walk south to the Beach Club, where a complete range of water sports is available under the guidance of our qualified water sports attendants. Activities include water-skiing, banana rides, kayaking, catamaran sailing ... even a trip to swim with the turtles. Reservations for these and many more exciting activities can be made directly at the Beach Club. Scuba diving and deep-sea fishing charters can also be arranged through the Beach Club.

Pool

If you prefer to swim in fresh water, then visit our pool, which is adjacent to the Spa. Swim in the serenity of the gardens, where you will find our pool attendants anxious to ensure that all of your needs are met. Out of the water, your appetite can be satisfied on the Pool deck with choices from our pool menu.

Children under the age of three can visit their 'branch" of the Treehouse Club when accompanied by an adult. A selection of age-appropriate toys, puzzles and games are available for hours of fun out of the sun's rays.

The Den is for teenagers. Young adults aged 13 and over can enjoy their own lounge with an adjoining games room, featuring pool, air hockey and football ... not to mention popular board games, a jukebox and the very latest high-tech computers. Activities include pool parties, island tours, sports clinics, water sports and coastal cruises.

TENNIS

At the Tennis Club, nine championship floodlit tennis courts include a stadium court and offer a choice of a cushioned hard surface or an artificial grass surface.

Our resident tennis professional can arrange lessons and will organize tournaments and "round robins". The professional will arrange partners who can hit with players at any skill level. A ball machine is available on request.

Extra services, provided at additional charges, include practice sessions with the resident tennis professional, stringing and gripping of racquets.

When playing at Sandy Lane, soft spikes are required. Carts are also compulsory on The Country Club and must be accompanies by one caddie per cart who will assist with local knowledge and other services.

The Golf

The focal point of golf at Sandy Lane is our impressive Club House overlooking the 18th Hole of The Country Club Course and The Green Monkey. The clubhouse serves the three Sandy Lane courses: The Old Nine, the Tom Fazio designed Country Club Course and the spectacular Green Monkey Course.

Facilities
Tastefully decorated with every modern convenience a golfer or visitor would require. The Country Club has a restaurant and bar, lounge areas, an extensive pro shop, locker facilities and private rooms which come equipped with plasma TV screens.

Pro Shop
The Pro Shop at The Country Club carries an extensive selection of golf equipment and clothing, including brands such as Nike, Bobby Jones, Tommy Hilfiger and Titleist.

Locker Rooms
The modern facilities in the clubhouse allow golfers the chance to feel pampered and relaxed, especially after a challenging round of golf. The Locker Rooms are spacious and luxurious with private lounge rooms attached.

Restaurant & Bar
Non-golfing families and friends can meet for drinks or refreshments. Our restaurant has an all day menu and is open to the public seven days a week.

Shoes and clubs can be rented. The golf carts, included in the green fee at The Country Club, are fitted with a GPS system.

This is a global positioning satellite system which shows your location to the green or hazards such as bunkers. The system also provides tips on the best way to play the hole. You can also use the GPS to order light refreshments.

In The Spa - a splendid Romanesque building fronted by a spectacular waterfall cascading into the large freeform swimming pool - our highly' skilled therapists are waiting to rejuvenate your mind, body' and spirit.

The world-class, unique facilities include VIP treatment suites enhanced with honed granites, warm woods and mood-enhancing light. Each suite offers a private shower, bathroom and changing facilities where you can relax and escape. Nine suites feature private landscaped gardens and three have hydrotherapy' pools.

Inspired by the example of the ancients, we have created a unique treatment concept that blends traditional cultural therapies from the Caribbean, the Far East and Europe with a balanced philosophy' of health and well-being.

Additional treatment experiences include the chakra therapy room with a heated marble plinth, the hydrotherapy' room with an underwater massage bath, and a jet blitz room.
